The scientific and educational project "Music in Culture" implements research directions in an interdisciplinary perspective, paying special attention to areas that are fragmentally represented in the system of secondary and higher musical education.  The development of new approaches makes it possible to bring together the external diversity of artistic phenomena into a semantic integrity and, using various implementation formats ― seminars, conferences, scientific sessions, concerts, book publications, lectures and exhibitions, to present this project as a unique phenomenon on the scientific map of the world. 
The project was approved in April 2017 with the participation of leading Russian institutions. It is attended by more than 40 countries and 120 scientists from leading institutions of the near and far abroad.
