Research directions
We strive to overcome the stereotypes of a universalistic approach to music from various regions of the world. Each research area is formed around a specific set of problems. The main ones relate to musical language and issues of music conceptualization, cognitive studies of music, which involve the use of modern interdisciplinary methods, the study of Jewish art, which reflects the diversity of the world's artistic heritage, and the preservation of scholarly heritage amidst the changing contexts of argumentation. All areas are united by the principle of studying music inextricably linked to the language of culture and the development of analytical approaches that respond to contemporary challenges.
