• studying the of Jewish art as a phenomenon of world culture through the relationship of "one's own" and "another's" in numerous stylistic and linguistic manifestations from ancient, medieval to modern art;
• studying the stable visual and semantic idioms repeated in the facts of art created by Jewish artists regardless of time, culture and belonging to a particular school;
• studying the mechanisms of formation of Jewish art in the area of ancient Mesopotamian civilizations through prohibitions on certain forms of sound and plastic expression and preferences, including those fixed in the corpus of Hebrew literature;
• studying the scientific heritage of A.-Ts. Idelson's;
