Anthropology of Musical Existence: about the new book by I.I. Zemtsovsky

The paper discusses the foundation of a new scientific discipline that studies the universality of musical existence (not music!) and proposes, in place of the evolutionary approach, an anthropology of human music-making. It is based on the simple idea that music originated as a mode of human existence, and therefore unites everyone who exists in music. The author's book of the same name is devoted to what unites us all musically.
