Holocaust Memory in Academic Music of Russia, Belarus, and Ukraine

This report examines the Holocaust as an artistic and aesthetic phenomenon in the musical arts and culture of the USSR and post-Soviet period. To identify the specifics of memorialization, a scientific reconstruction was conducted based on historical facts, an analysis of the sociocultural context, and approximately 30 musical works. The results of this work are reflected in a dissertation that won the competition held by the Higher Attestation Commission of the Republic of Belarus.
