Solomon's Temple: Text and Image

We know the structure and appearance of Solomon's Temple exclusively from the Bible. However, reading biblical technical texts, including construction descriptions, presents a number of difficulties due to their richness in terms whose meanings are not always clearly interpretable. Nevertheless, the task of reconstructing the temple's appearance is achievable through a "slow" reading of written sources and comparing their information with archaeological and iconographic data.
