The outstanding Soviet and Russian scientist, musicologist Mark Genrikhovich Aranovsky (1928-2009) left a unique legacy in the field of studying modern, cognitive, and humanitarian problems. In musicology, his name is associated with a number of events that radically changed the face of music science and influenced its further development. Delivered and developed by M.G. Aranovsky problems have expanded the horizons of musicology in an interdisciplinary perspective and have remained relevant for researchers who have turned in their work to the theory and philosophy of consciousness, the study of perception mechanisms, and the processing of sound/ musical information.
The main purpose of the conference is to predict the possibilities of bringing together specialists from various fields of humanities to share experiences and new methods of solving actual problems.
